Calling All Artists & Artisans

On Saturday evening November 14^th, the McKean County Historical Society will transform our county's historic court house into an art gallery to showcase the work of our local artisans from 7 - 10 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a sophisticated evening with live music while viewing and shopping at the temporary gallery. There will be an auction of donated items later in the evening at 8:30.

This is a much-needed, major fund raiser for the McKean County Historical Society as the state has severely diminished funds for all organizations such as ours. The purpose of this letter is to encourage you to display your artwork at this event and to request the possible donation of an item for the auction. Artwork may be presented as "Display Only" or "For Sale" during the event. (Further details on this matter are outlined on the artist's guideline sheet which is available by calling 814.887.5142, emailing Jennifer@jstambaugh.net or stopping at the MCHS.) There is no exhibit fee, so this presents an excellent opportunity to display your work while helping to raise funds for the MCHS.

The MCHS is looking forward to bringing this special pre-holiday event to McKean County. We recognize that this event cannot happen without you as sharing your talent helps to ensure this event will be a success.
