Creativity is Alive & Well

Creativity is in Smethport Pennsylvania. On July 7^th, 2009 at 6:30 PM come see creativity in the making as Artist Trading Cards are exchanged and a tour of Keppel Stone Works is given as part of the Smethport Creative Arts League regular monthly meeting. After the tour, hang out and see what other exciting plans are in the making with the Smethport Creative Arts League.

Jeff Keppel began an apprenticeship at a monument company in 1992 where he first began to learn the techniques and basic layout practices of memorials. In 2006, Jeff purchased a building at 515 East Main Street in Smethport and began his own business in the stone trade. Jeff designs personalized monuments tailored to the commemorative or decorative needs of his clients. Like most artists, Jeff seeks to constantly hone his artistic abilities and expand his creative ideas. His quest for perfection constantly takes his work to new levels as he seeks to create art that imitates life. Jeff intends to start his studio tour with a brief history of memorial art and the traditions associated with it.
